Garden heros!
HUDERF's playground project has already received a great deal of support from both children and adults and it has been humbling and exciting to witness the enthusiasm and generosity of these incredible benefactors!
Here we highlight just a few of the project's supporters and say a heartfelt thank you to them and to all those that have given so graciously.
Thank you all so much!
Quiz Night
Families of British School of Brussels organisation organised a quiz evening. 14 teams of six answered (or tried to answer) questions covering general knowledge, science, art, geography and history with the entrance fee and donations on the night for the garden.
Sweet jobs
At St. Anthony's church in Kraainem, the 2019 First Holy Communicants group were each given a tube of smarties, which they were allowed to eat (yummy!) and then encouraged to fill with euros in return for doing small jobs at home to help their parents.
Mes Jolies Capucines has agreed to provide Kids Care asbl with 500 of these beautiful little green watering cans complete with soil and seeds so that children can grow their own flowers. The proceeds from the sale of these gorgeous little kits will go to the garden at HUDERF and we hope many schools and parents' associations will help us to sell them! A wonderful way for children to connect with this important project at HUDERF.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Little Gyms of Uccle, Wezembeek-Oppem and Wavre hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on 21st April with all proceeds going to the garden. Happy hunting ... and eating (!) everyone!!
Jeweller Louis Reichman donated a stunning ring for auction at The Ten gala auction evening held in May 2019. We are so grateful to all everyone's support. It was an extraordinary evening.
